I would like to introduce...

Bruno and Lula.

Yep as of to day we are now dog people, again. The first go around didn't work out. LOL. We were only going to do one dog but when we went to look at them they were just so cute together we didn't want to separate them. Plus each kid has already claimed one.
Bruno belongs to Preston.

Lula belongs to Isaiah.

As of right now the boys are excites about their new pets. We will see how long that last. But I do think we made the right decision. Especially since they have already been some what trained by the foster family.
Well tomorrow we are back to the same ole' same ole'. Isaiah goes back to school, Preston to daycare and I have to wake up earlier. I hope everyone has a great week.

Little Yellow Bicycle

Happy first day of Spring everyone. I know all my Bama peeps enjoyed the beautiful sunny day we had here after a gloomy cloudy week. My MIL came to visit us this week and I love having her around. For one Trey and I got to go out for the evening. We finally saw the Blindside last night. I am sure we are one of the last people to see it. LOL. It was very good, even got teary eyed a time or two.
This month over at Croppin Paradise, one of the lines I got to work with was Little Yellow Bicycle. I hate to admit that I wasn't much of a fan. Not because I didn't like it, but because I had never really seen it. But let me just say I love this company! It is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Here is the layout I made using the Lucky Me line.

Everything is Little Yellow Bicycle except the pearl brad, which is American Crafts.

This layout I made for a GDT at Back Porch Memories. Sadly I didn't get picked but I thought these LYB papers were great for these pictures.

Little Yellow Bicycle: patterned paper, Jennie Bowlin: label sticker, KI Memories: label sticker Basic Grey: letter stickers, Creative Cafe: chipboard, Doodle Bug: run-ons, American Crafts: thickers, K&Company: sticker, Heidi Swapp: die cut, office stickers and scalloped notecard

Have a great week!

Happy Birthday Luis!

I would like to wish my brother, Luis a happy birthday today!

Also this was my week to post the weekly challenge over at Croppin Paradise so make sure to head over there to play along.
My challenge was to use a picture that was larger than 5x7. I had to push myself on this one but yet didn't want to rack my brain to hard either so I kept my layout 8.5x11 to make it easier. You of course don't have to.

Later!

allergy woes and scrappiness

Hey everyone! I hope all my Birmingham peeps enjoyed the lovely weather we had earlier this week. I for one did not get to. I actually dread this time of year. You know when the weather can't make up its mind whether it wants to be warm or cold. All it does is make me miserable for those two or three days that it is warm outside. By the time my runny nose and watery eyes go away it turns cool again and the cycle starts all over. But I did enjoy pulling out the flip flops and not taking my light jacket.
Now about two weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to my friend Brittany's house and scrapping for the weekend. Didn't get a whole lot done, but I enjoyed the time with some great ladies and fell in love with Oreo truffles!

My Mind's Eye: patterned paper, October Afternoon: label stickers, Heidi Swapp: chipboard letters and heart, American Crafts: jeweled brads, Making Memories: tiny alphas, kraft cardstock

My Mind's Eye: patterned paper, journaling card and brad, October Afternoon: label sticker, Cosmo Cricket: ribbon, Creative Cafe: felt ribbon, Little Yellow Bicycle: patterned paper, Making Memories: tiny alphas, My Little Shoebox: transparency, Scenic Route: label sticker

Well Isaiah starts spring break this week but we have no plans. My MIL will be flying in later this week to hang out with the boys and hopefully this means Trey and I can get away for a night or two. Hope everyone has a great week!
